Bridge at Salini Salt Pans

General Maintenance Ltd. (GML) was awarded the contract for the fabrication and installation of a steel pedestrian bridge at the historic Salini Salt Pans in Malta.

The steel bridge was fully fabricated at GML’s workshop, ensuring precise quality control and adherence to the project’s structural specifications. The design was engineered for strength, durability, and minimal environmental impact. Once fabricated, the bridge was transported to the site as a single, complete structure, allowing for a streamlined installation process. This approach minimized on-site works and reduced disruption to the sensitive salt pan environment.
